No.9 Michigan State at No. 3 Ohio State

The defending champs have had it easy up to this point. Now the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes (10-0 SU, 4-6 ATS) finish the regular season with back-to-back games against their toughest competition in the Big Ten East. Their season finale is next week in Ann Arbor against the No. 12 Michigan Wolverines; first, the Buckeyes will host the No. 9 Michigan State Spartans (9-1 SU, 3-7 ATS) this Saturday at The Horseshoe. Kick-off is at 3:30 PM ET on ABC. Despite OSU’s soft schedule thus far, the Buckeyes are 13-point home faves at press time. That might be a bit generous. Michigan State has held its own at 3-1 SU and ATS over the past four games, with a major upset of the Wolverines (–7 at home) in Week 7, and a narrow 39-38 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers (+6 at home) in Week 10 after Nebraska scored two touchdowns in the last two minutes. The main concern for Sparty fans will be the condition of QB Connor Cook’s right shoulder. He missed the second half of last week’s 24-7 win over the Maryland Terrapins (+15.5 away), but Cook says he’s good to go for Saturday.
