BlackJack Games is a beat-the-house game played with one to six standard decks of 52 cards *Jokers are not included*. A player can keep hitting new cards until he’s satisfied or busts. If the dealer’s total is less than 17 the house will automatically draw. If the dealer’s total is 17 or above - the house will always stand. The game of blackjack favors the dealer: if both you and the dealer bust (i.e. - exceed 21), you lose. The following elementary rules may prove useful:
- Never split your 4s -Â 5s or 10s.
- You can split your 8s and Aces, despite of which card the dealer is showing.
- If you are not counting cards, you should not take insurance.
- You should stand with a 12 if the dealer is showing a 4, 5, or 6.
- A winning streak on a blackjack table can not last forever. Set a table limit for yourself and if you find yourself losing, take a break and save your remaining profits for another session.
- If the dealer is showing 7 through Ace, it is a good idea to ask for more cards until your total is above 16.
- No matter what the dealers up card is, always assume their card that is face down is a 10.
- Always split pairs – except cards valued 10 (10, Jack, Queen, King).
