The current gambling trade dispute over whether internet gambling should be banned or regulated between the U.S. and Europe has been commented on by the British government. The dispute has been ongoing since Antiguas World Trade Organisation win over America earlier this year, which opened the opportunity for Europe to demand trade concessions on an annual basis. British Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reforms attempts to influence US policy towards regulation with the hope that it may lead to the reopening of the worlds most lucrative online gambling market.
