Kathy Liebert Poker Success

As of 2007 - Kathy Liebert has won a World Series of Poker bracelet, and over $3,000,000 in live tournament winnings.  She has won more prize money in open field tournaments than any other woman in poker history to date. Kathy Liebert was born on October 1 - 1967 in Nashville, Tennessee.  She is the first woman to ever win a tournament with a first prize of $1,000,000.  She grew up on Long Island in New York, and attended Maris College in Poughkeepsie, where she earned a bachelors degree in Business and Finance.  She was subsequently hired by Dun & Bradstreet, but later made the decision to leave, citing her unhappiness with corporate life.  Wise and successful stock investments allowed her to quit her job and travel the country. Liebert began her professional poker career as a prop player in Colorado.  She subsequently went on to enter various poker tournaments, and won the first Party Poker million event in 2002.  She now resides I Las Vegas, Nevada and Downey, California.
