American Idol betting odds for the Season 6 finale are now available and are relatively close compared to last year’s finale. At nearly 1 to 4 odds or -355 at press time of winning American Idol, 17 year old Jordin Sparks was posted as the big favorite for next week’s finale verses Blake Lewis at +285 odds. For first time American Idol bettors, note the minus sign (-) which indicates that a profit can only be obtained with a more significant risk. In this case one would have to be $3.55 to win $1.00 plus the initial $3.55 gets returned. A bet on Blake Lewis would mean little risk since every $1.00 bet would yield $2.85 should he happen to be named the next American Idol. And don’t count out this native Washingtonian. Lewis enjoys a solid fan following.
