Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal has asked New York state to keep its horses and betting out of his backyard. Horse racing season at Belmont Park in New York opened May 3rd. Under new regulations, New York gambling officials gave a green light to the track owners to accept online wagers from residents of New York and Connecticut. However  Blumenthal says betting via the Internet is illegal in Connecticut and he has expressed his displeasure with the New York officials who approved the plan. In a letter to the New York State Racing and Wagering Board, Blumenthal said he would take legal action if necessary. He said individuals will not be targeted for prosecution in this matter and his efforts will remain focused on the authorities. “I am surprised that New York authorities approved a plan that violates our law,” Blumenthal was quoted as saying in the Courant.” (Hypocrisy at its best in the USA) Welcome to: Online Sport Betting ReviewsÂ
