Consumer Coalition Targets Neteller
When the UIGEA first made the news, online payment processor Neteller swore it would stay its ground and continue to support online poker players. That was before the two founders were arrested and charged with money laundering by US officials, however. Since then Neteller has decided not to support online poker players, and now frustrated account holders have organized a group called the Neteller Customer Coalition in order to attempt to access their money. The members of the group have over $750,000 frozen in Neteller accounts, and are searching for ways to pressure the company to give up the funds.
