Yahoo.co.uk launching their online poker site
Yahoo -Â one of the biggest online sites, is making a move toward the world of real money online poker. The move comes with the launching of their online poker site!! Yahoo has entered into a partnership with Sweeden’s Boss Media AB and St. Minver LTD. The two companies combined to provide the software as well as other services for Yahoo. The site is being released in the UK, but will be available in any country that online poker is legal. 
Although this is the first of the online giants to jump on the online poker ship, it certainly will not be the last. The market is too lucrative for other giants not to explore. Yahoo has the database and the marketing to severely change the online poker industry if they use all the resources afforded to them. In addition, their success will be closely monitored by other online giants such as Google and MSN. If Yahoo does what is anticipated and takes over a majority of the online poker clientel, it might not be long before the other companies get in on act.
