A Quick Look at the NBA Playoffs

Even if the team is three games behind in the playoffs, this doesn’t mean that the game is over.  NBA fans have seen this before.  The losing team can make a strong comeback and halt the winning streak.  This seems to be the case with the Eastern Conference Finals after the Orlando Magic pushed for Game 5, beating the Boston Celtics 96 to 92 in an overtime.  This only shows that the winning team can’t be too confident even if they’re leading by 3 games in a best of seven series.  Playoff betting fans should be looking at statistics and odds to get the best leads based on the recently concluded outcomes in the league. Magic vs. Celtics Despite the losing streak, there were bets made on the Orlando Magic extending the series to Game 5.  The odds show that this is possible.  But whether they can pull off yet another win and race against the Boston Celtics, sports betting fans will have to see how far Dwight Howard, who made 32 points and 16 rebounds in Game 4, and Jameer Nelson, who made a lot of 3-pointers, are willing to go to lead their team.  Howard said that they didn’t want to go home too early and want to give it a good fight.  It’s not just about the making scores but leading the team, according to Howard.  With the fighting spirit shown by Howard and Nelson, the game turned out into a must-win for the Orlando Magic.  If the Suns will fight for the win till the end, fans still have to see and consider the fact that coming from a losing streak of 3-0 will be a very challenging feat to overcome.  No NBA team has pulled this off before. Suns vs. Lakers Following the results of the Easter Conference Finals, Suns vs. Lakers is also building steam in the betting charts.  After seeing the Orlando Magic fall to the Boston Celtics three times, many believed that the Phoenix Suns won’t let the same thing happen to them, especially on their home court.  With the LA Lakers leading the series at 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals, the Phoenix Suns had to do their best to avoid the sweep, and this is what happened in Game 3. In Game 3, it is apparent how the Suns came out strong defensively.  Although Pau Gasol made 23 points at the scoreboard with a field goal of 11 out of 14 and also contributed nine rebounds, this wasn’t enough to stop the Suns who are hungry for a win in this series.  LA was still strong offensively with impressive play from Kobe Bryant, but the team just didn’t perform just as well compared to Games 1 and 2.  Sports betting fans will have to analyze the game and consider the odds to see which team can possibly win Game 4.
