Bodog and 1st Technology | IXGAMES
Despite the fact that the company has now completely shifted online operations to a new – and they say, a permanent – home, Bodog is continuing to aggressively respond to the lawsuit filed against them for patent infringement by 1st Technology LLC. It now appears that the two sides are scheduled to meet in a Nevada Court on October 11th, 2007. This court date will focus on the default judgment handed down by a court in Washington State. 
(1st Technology is saying the $48 million judgment is fair and good because Bodog was infringing upon its patent (United States Patent No. 5,564,001 entitled *Method and System for Interactively Transmitting Multimedia Information Over a Network which Requires a Reduced Bandwidth*) while operating out of the United States).
