Davidson Takes 13-2 ATS Record to St. Joe’s | IXGAMES

It’s been seven years since Stephen Curry led the Davidson Wildcats into the Elite Eight. Davidson hasn’t won a Tournament game since then, and got bounced out of last year’s NIT in the first round. But the ‘Cats are back, building a 14-4 SU and 13-2 ATS record to make them the most profitable team in Division I as we go to press. This Saturday (12:30 PM ET, NBCSN), Davidson will try to keep the money train rolling through Hagan Arena, home of Saint Joseph’s Hawks (8-11 SU, 8-6 ATS). These are tough times for the Hawks; they’re near the bottom of the A-10 standings, and they’re digging themselves deeper after dropping three of their last four SU and ATS. However, there’s one fly in the ointment for Davidson: their current star guard, Jack Gibbs (15.8 PPG), suffered a slightly torn meniscus earlier this month and missed the past two games for the ‘Cats. He’s not expected back until February. However, Jordan Barham (10.4 PPG) has also played very well this season, and Davidson covered both its games with Barham in the starting lineup in place of Gibbs.
