Warren Sapp, the former University of Miami and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star, was arrested just recently in Miami on charges of misdemeanor domestic battery. Details of the alleged incident The incident allegedly occurred at the Shore Club Hotel in Miami Beach on a Saturday morning. The complainant told the police that she, along with her friends, was partying with Sapp. When she became tired, she asked him for his room key. She claims that Sapp woke her up a few hours later and questioned her about men she listed on her cell phone. An argument later ensued wherein she alleged that the former NFL star choked her and pushed her down. In her affidavit, the woman also added that Sapp grabbed her by her shirt, then her neck, and threw her down on the couch again.
