Overvalued Cavs Host Bucks | IXGAMES
The Cleveland Cavaliers have the best record in the Eastern Conference, but at 8-3 SU and 3-8 ATS, they’re also the least profitable team in the East. They’ll be coated in chalk once again this Thursday (8:00 PM ET, TNT) when they host the Milwaukee Bucks, who are off to a bumpy start at 5-6 SU and ATS. The Cavaliers are starting this season without point guard Kyrie Irving (knee) and shooting guard Iman Shumpert (wrist), and while they’re a deeper team this year with the arrival of point guard Mo Williams, this still won’t be a complete Eastern contender until Irving and Shumpert make their expected returns in December. Milwaukee has started the year with some key injuries as well, but there’s a chance that small forward Jabari Parker (foot) will make his season debut this Thursday. Parker is one of the future cornerstones of the Bucks, who tanked the 2013-14 season in order to draft Parker second overall out of Duke. Center John Henson is also back in action after missing four games with a sore Achilles tendon; Henson (22.8 PER) is one of the NBA’s more underrated players, especially now that he’s behind Greg Monroe (23.3 PER) on the depth chart.
