Raptors Suffer Loss with Bosh's Injury | IXGAMES

The Toronto Raptors feared that the path leading to the playoffs may be more challenging now that Chris Bosh is suffering from an injury that had him bleeding from his nose.  The Raptors were up against Chicago, battling for the last postseason spot for the Eastern Conference. Broken bone Chris Bosh of the Toronto Raptors Bosh suffered from broken facial bones, after being hit inadvertently by Antawn Jamison’s elbow, who is playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers. This took place Tuesday evening.  Winning 11 games straight at home, the Cavaliers were able to beat the Raptors with the final score of 113-101. While Bosh and Jamison were jostling for a spot in the lane during the first few minutes, the latter struck Bosh accidentally in the face. Bosh then sustained injuries and was bleeding through his mouth and nose, and after getting first-aid assistance, was rushed to the Cleveland Clinic for a routine CT scan. The test results came shortly after the game’s conclusion, and they showed how Bosh sustained a fracture on the right side of his face, specifically on the maxilla and nasal regions. During the fourth quarter, Bosh returned to the Quicken Loans Arena.  Unfortunately, he could no longer travel with the rest of the team.  He had to stay in the hospital for further tests. Inopportune time The Toronto Raptors suffered the worst blow from Bosh’s injury, especially since they have played for the night hanging by the No. 8 spot for the playoffs. A challenging week awaits Toronto with games against Boston, Atlanta, and the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls suffered from a loss against Milwaukee and is behind the Raptors by one game. Meanwhile, there is no definite date as to when Bosh will be able to join the team again or  if he will be allowed to play immediately upon his return. Jarrett Jack knows how important it is for the team to keep on fighting, whether or not Bosh is on board. Jack was able to lead the Raptors with 23 points. Also, Jack recognizes how the games never get simple and how timing can never be perfect as far as the NBA is concerned. According to him, the team has to deal with injuries as part of the game. He added that somebody else can take the opportunity to step up, now that Chris is going through a tougher time than usual. An opportunity has clearly opened up, and somebody should step up and play for the team. The scores Jamison scored a total of 20 points, with 12 points secured during the first three quarters, when the Cavaliers were still leading by a double-digit. As for Anthony Parker, he was able to secure 18 points, his highest for the season. Mo Williams scored 14 with 12 assists for Cleveland, while Lebron James was able to score double digits, 19 points with 13 assists. During the third quarter, the Raptors also suffered a loss when forward Antoine Wright sustained an ankle injury. With Toronto’s loss, the Miami Heat was able to settle a spot for themselves at the playoffs.
