Championship Series Event #3, a $150+$12 No Limit Hold‘em Tournament The first of the poker tournaments was the Championship Series Event #3, a $150+$12 No Limit Hold‘em Tournament that featured an additional $5,000 added to the prize pool by the online poker room. The Championship Series is aimed at players with a bit of experience and slightly larger bankrolls, and this event was won by Bodog player “bklynzto81.” They received $14,262.49 for their finish and entry into the $470+$30 Bodog Poker Open V Main Event. Second place and a tidy $9,128 went to “tunic” and “graytambar” took third place with $5,762.05 added do their bankroll. In addition to cash, the winner also won a spot in the Bodog Poker Open V Main Event. The rest of the final table received seats at the Contender Series Main Event, a $15,000 guaranteed tournament that wraps up the smaller-stakes series. Bodog poker player “Charles Clubb” won first place and $1,500; “UFPoker Star” took second and $1,000 while “Matika” rounded out the top three finishers with a tidy $595.01 added to their tournament winnings at the online poker site.
