Scotty Nguyen has stated that if he does not win enough money at the 2009 WSOP he will quit poker. Poker pro Scotty Nguyen has stated that he will quit poker if he wins less than $4 million this summer at the 2009 WSOP. The statement of intent was put forth by Scotty in an interview with PokerListings. The start of the 2009 World Series of Poker is a lot closer than you realize. Thursday morning online sportsbook and poker room Bodog released a number of wagers on the 2009 WSOP including one on the controversial Scotty Nguyen. Bodog is offering the chance to wager that he makes the $4 million mark. The betting line opened at +2500 meaning for every $100 wagered a bettor could win $2500 if Nguyen is succesful. At the 2008 WSOP only three players, Dennis Phillips, Ivan Demidov and eventual Main Event champion Peter Eastgate cracked the $4 million mark. Bodog has a variety of other prop bets for the WSOP, including a last-longer featuring several name pros (Ivey is the favorite at 5-1), several bets on the chances of female players in this year’s main event, and a bet on which game will be played during the final hand of the 2009 WSOP $50K HORSE Event.
