Big Games, Big Bets for Friday Night Ball | IXGAMES

There’s a big NBA night coming up on Friday, December 4th.  All in all, ten games will be played, with top-notch teams like the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, and Boston Celtics showcasing their talents.  If you plan on making some bets for the Friday night games, you may want to go for the big games, the first of which will be between the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers, and the second is the Miami Heat and the L.A. Lakers.  Let’s take a look at these teams and how they have been doing to see which ones are likely to come out on top.  Get ready to place your bets. Chicago Bulls vs. Cleveland Cavaliers The Chicago Bulls will be visiting the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena for what should be a good game featuring some of the league’s best young and veteran talents.  As of Tuesday, the Cavs lead the Central Division with a record of 12 and 5, while the Bulls are in third place in the same division with a record of 6 and 9.  Although the Bulls were thought to have a relatively good season, they are off to a rocky start.  Their past games have been devastating.  The Bulls have lost their past five games, and they will be facing the Detroit Pistons at home on Wednesday before the game against the Cavs.  The Cavs, on the other hand, have won four of their last five games, including a disappointing upset loss against the Charlotte Bobcats.  If the Cavs can pull it together for their Wednesday night game against the Phoenix Suns, they may build a two-game winning streak going into the Friday night face-off with the Bulls.  It’s no surprise if some would put their money on LeBron and the Cavs for this Friday’s game, especially with the Cavs averaging 99.1 ppg and the Bulls only averaging 91.4 ppg so far in the season. Miami Heat vs. L.A. Lakers What could be more exhilarating than betting on a game between two of the league’s greatest shooting guards: Dwayne Wade and Kobe Bryant.  These two Olympics teammates will be facing off on Friday night when the Lakers host the Heat at the Staples Arena.  So far, the Lakers are in first place in the Pacific Division with a record of 14-3, while the Heat are in third place in the red-hot Southeast Division with a record of 10-7.  These two teams are well-matched, especially at the guard positions, but the main difference will have to be the size and strength of the Lakers.  With Gasol and Bynum crashing the boards, setting picks, and dominating the key, the Heat will have a hard time on Friday.  In the Heat’s past five games, they have won 3, losing to the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards at home.  The Lakers, on the other hand, are on a tier, riding a seven-game winning streak going into Friday night’s game.  The Lakers will have about two days of rest before the game, which gives them a big edge, considering that the Heat will be facing the Denver Nuggets on the day before Heat vs. Lakers game.  Although Wade is a favorite, it may be good to place your bets on the Lakers for this one.
