Sports Betting Baseball Season
Here are a few baseball season win totals that us sports bettors see some value. After a little research we think these have the best value and worth a shot.
- ATLANTA BRAVES UNDER 82.5 -105
- IÂ just can’t see Atlanta breaking .500. The streak for the division finally ended and don’t see it getting any easier for them. Atlanta will be lucky to get 75 wins.
- COLORADO ROCKIES OVER 76 -105
- The Rockies could be a surprise team in the NL West. Rocks surprise and do play .500 baseball this year. Mostly just a gut feeling here.
- KANSAS CITY ROYALS OVER 69 -105
- Hard to imagine that I would put any money on the Royals but this is like betting they won’t lose 100 games. If Dotel can stay healthy they have a legitimate closer. They have some pitching and young talent. I think 70 wins is more than reasonable for the Royals.
- MILWAUKEE BREWERS OVER 80 -115
- Milwaukee is always everyone’s favorite team to pick for improvement but year after year they start strong but end the same way. They have legitimate pitching this year and a solid lineup. If the Brewers don’t win 81 games someone should be fired.
- NEW YORK YANKEES UNDER 97.5 -125
- No way this team wins 100 games. They still have a lot of questions in the rotation. Rivera is getting older as the closer and is wearing out. They lost Sheffield and let’s see how Abreu handles an entire year in NY. Jeter had a career year and will take a step back. A-Rod is A-Rod. Giambi also had a post juice career year and I also expect him to take a step back. They are in the toughest division in baseball. Redsox, Bluejays and Orioles are all improved. Just seems this number is really over valued.
- FLORIDA MARLINS UNDER 77 -105
- Florida is in for a rough year. Everyone thinks their pitching will dominate but they have a lot of questions starting with Dontrelle Willis who might be the most overrated pitcher in the National League. Most of these starters have not gone an entire season and now they will be expected to with expectations. They have no closer, no centerfielder. Dan Uggla will never duplicate his season from last year. Marlins will learn quickly how much they really will miss Joe Girardi.
