European online poker solution
A four country monopoly on European online poker will come under fire soon as the European Commission preps legal action in order to crack open the online poker market. According to Reuters, Denmark, Finland, Hungary and Sweden are the countries in question, and Germany and the Netherlands are on the short list of additions. The charge is a failure to conform with EU rules, and they will be brought before the European Court of Justice on the matter. The issue at hand are state owned monopolies, which are against EU law.
