Signs On to Legalize Internet Gambling
Congressman Barney Frank’s Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act (IGREA), bill H.R.2046, gained another co-sponsor. Congressman Raul M. Grijalva on Wednesday joined Frank and 37 others to become the 38th representative of the United States House to join in the fight to regulate online gambling. Rep. Grijalva serves on the Committee on Natural Resources and is Chairman of the National Parks, Forests and Public Lands Subcommittee, the Committee on Education and Labor, and on the Committee on Small Business. – Congressman Grijalva can be reached at ph. 202-225-2435, or a letter of support and thanks can be mailed to 1440 Longworth HOB Washington, D.C. 20515. – If Americans want this law overturned and have regulations implemented that would ensure that underage and problem gamblers would be protected, Barney Frank’s bill is the way to go. All it would take is a letter writing campaign and follow-up phone calls to members of congress asking them to support the IGREA Initiative. (When you calling or writing to the congress, be polite, be concise, and have talking points ready).
