ROUSSO IS FIGHTING THE GAMBLING BAN
Lee Rousso -Â an avid poker player and attorney, is running for Governor in the State of Washington -Â USA, and is aiming to unseat incumbent Governor Christine Gregoire using the removal of the state law that made online gambling a Class C felony as his key issue. Rousso says -Â even if he loses the Democratic nomination for governor in the upcoming August primary, his real goal is to get this objectionable gambling law stricken from the books. Rousso -Â who is also Washington state representative to the Poker Players Alliance – claiming that the ban on Internet poker is a direct violation of the U.S. Constitution’ commerce clause, which prohibits individual states from enacting laws that discriminate against interstate businesses.
