The statement saying “We are no longer accepting registration/deposits from your jurisdiction” is what greets players from European countries the minute they log in. The sites started operation less than a year ago, being given licenses last October. They have then proceeded to sign software deals with Playtech and CTXM, offering more than one hundred twenty five (125) casino and poker games online for its players. Other branded games were also featured in the site including classics like Virtua Fighter, House of the Dead and Nights, and Phantasy Star. According to Games Limited, the remaining funds will be credited to customer accounts starting September 15. Reason for the early close Reasons behind Sega’s decision to close down their online casinos are still not made public. So far no quotes from Sega have been published. However, upon logging in to the site, it has been mentioned that the Sega Online Casinos have shown a recent drop in popularity from gamers.
