2013 Maui Invitational Championship Round
It’s already been an exciting year for college basketball betting, and we’re just getting started. The 30th annual Maui Invitational Tournament has reached the Championship Round, beginning with the quarterfinals Monday night at the Lahaina Civic Center. First up is Arkansas versus California, followed by Minnesota versus Syracuse, Chaminade versus Baylor and finally, Dayton versus Gonzaga. All eight of these teams are undefeated heading into Maui. However, the Orange (0-2 ATS) are the only ones who have yet to beat the college basketball odds this year. The Golden Gophers, meanwhile, are 3-0 ATS and could prove difficult to beat on Monday. Ken Pomeroy’s efficiency stats have Minnesota ranked No. 19 in Division I through Saturday’s action, six spots ahead of Syracuse, despite being +3.5 dogs. Arkansas (3-0 ATS) and California (2-1 ATS) have also gotten off to strong starts this year, although both have played very soft schedules up to this point. That all changes Monday when the Golden Bears, who have a 4.5-point advantage on the NFL spread, take on the Razorbacks.
